Gujarat farmer's son shines
Narendra Lakhnotra's parents never went to school. Last month's floods in Amreli had damaged his father Bhanabhai's cotton crop on three acre land in Rajula and he incurred a loss of Rs 30,000. On Thursday, however, all their worries were washed away when the ICAI declared results of CA final exams and common proficiency test (CPT). Narendra , 21, made his family proud by becoming a chartered accountant.He stood 10th in the city by clearing the tough exams in both first and second group in the first attempt “My father was in tears when I told him the result and my mother blessed me,“ said Narendra, who plans to start his independent practice.
